Shipping & Return Policy
Your credit card payment will be processed securely online via Authorize.net
. If you want to pay by cash in person at Essex Street Market that can also be arranged.
Shipments are sent out on Mondays and Tuesdays, and as all our pies are baked to order, we generally require one week's turnaround time (not including shipping). Rush orders are frequently possible, to arrange one please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
. We ship via either FedEx or UPS 2nd Day and Next Day Air only.
Your pies are shipped frozen to protect them from being crushed in transit, and to maintain freshness. They are packed with insulated bubble wrap and our special non-sweat ice packs.
As you can see, we've put a lot of thought and effort into insuring that your treats arrive in top condition. We'll ship during summer months or to warm climates using our insulated bubble and cold packs, but we cannot be responsible for product condition--SHIP AT YOUR OWN RISK. If your shipment is unsatisfactory, please contact us directly to see if we can accommodate you--we aim to please!
As our items are perishable, returns will only be permitted in the case of defective or damaged products. If FedEx or UPS is unable to deliver your order for some reason and it is instead held at your local carrier office for pick up we cannot be responsible if you are unable to claim it in a timely fashion. Should your order be damaged or otherwise unsuitable for consumption, we will gladly process a full refund for the returned item(s), if notified within 7 days of receipt. You must notify us in advance of your return. Refunds will be credited back to the card used to purchase the item, and we will credit the full purchase price including shipping costs.
When purchasing our products in the summer months or when shipping to warm climates, please be advised that First Prize Pies cannot be held responsible for any melting or damage that may occur through shipping – these shipments are at your own risk. We do our best to ensure the safe transport of your items, and if they arrive in unsatisfactory condition please be in touch to let us know so we can try to help resolve the issue.
If you decide you do not want what you ordered, it is imperative that you e-mail us immediately at email@example.com
. Once we ship the item it may only be refunded in the case of a defective or damaged product (see above).
